Seeing a dildo on the wall is a strange sight to behold. I recall this one time when I was walking down the hallway in my apartment building and I happened to glance back over my shoulder – and there it was; a big, pink dildo just stared back at me. I’ll never forget that moment! I was so taken aback that I had to step back a few paces. I think I even let out an “Oh my goodness!”.
I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Obviously, I hadn’t expected to see that there – especially not on display like it was. My mind immediately raced with questions like, “Whose is it?” and “How did it get here?” – but, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I really didn’t need to know. It was one of those things that just happens in life!
People’s reactions to the dildo were quite comical. Most just said “What the heck?” or “What? No way!”. Then there were those who just laughed and shook their heads as they passed it. My favorite response was from the kid who saw it and asked, “What’s that for?”. The adults all shifted uncomfortably and the little kid just walked away without getting an answer!
The dildo ended up staying in the hallway for sex dolls a few days before the maintenance team finally took it down and disposed of it. I always wonder who put it there in the first place. Maybe it was a prank? Or perhaps it was someone with a sense of humor? Either way, it’s not something you come across every day!
One thing I learned from the experience is that you can never be too sure what’s going to happen in life. No matter how much we plan, there are always curveballs thrown our way. It’s important to stay open-minded and flexible, so that we can make the most out of any situation.
The second I learned from this experience was not to take life too seriously. We should all be able to laugh at ourselves and the strange situations we find ourselves in. Life can be funny at times, so don’t forget to take time to enjoy the humor in the little things.
The third and final thing I took away from this experience was that it’s important to be kind and understanding to others. We never know what people are going through and there’s no need to judge them or their actions. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
I’m reminded of this experience whenever I see dildos in the store (which is somewhat frequent, given my line of work). It’s a reminder to keep an open mind and always be ready to laugh at life. I think the world would be a much better place if we all committed to being kinder and more understanding of each other.
