why are sex toys banned

I feel really disheartened why certain governments, cultures, and religions are banning sex toys. Why shouldn’t people be allowed to explore ways to enjoy their sexuality in healthy ways? It really doesn’t make any sense to me.

To begin, I think that sex toys offer a great way for people to explore their own sexual desires and fantasies in an open and safe manner. By providing an opportunity for people to explore different techniques, vibrators, dildos, and other toys can open up new levels of pleasure. Additionally, sex toys can be a great addition for couples to spice up their relationship and discover new ways to please each other.

What really grinds my gears is that many countries still have laws prohibiting the sale of these items. In these countries, people lack the freedom to choose and explore the methods that will make them really happy. I totally understand that from a certain religious or moral point of view these items can be seen as wrong, but why should someone’s religion or values affect our personal decisions? Even if you don’t agree – freedom of choice is still something to be respected.

The worst part is that some governments are willing to go out of their way to stop people from exercising their right to self-discovery. Just recently, a popular company in my town had its inventory seized by the government, as part of a wider campaign to crack down on the sale of sex toys. This really shocked me, Penis Rings as it was a great local shop providing resources for those who wanted to explore these things safely.

What really upsets me is the fact that people who choose to explore their sexuality through the use of sex toys are stigmatized. Many people think that the use of such items is only reserved for those who have difficulty with intimacy, when in fact the opposite is usually true. Research has shown that people who use sex toys actually have better communication and healthy relationships because the toys open up the opportunities for pleasure and free expression.

The reality is that banning sex toys is a form of control and censorship. Governments who feel the need to make these laws only succeed in taking away our rights and our personal freedoms. It’s really a shame, because people should be free to express their own sexuality in whatever ways they wish.
